Product Principles
Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a non-laser light source, which is an incoherent light composed of single or multiple pulse trains, which has the characteristics of a wide spectrum range and high energy density. Light with shorter wave¬lengths can be filtered out with filters or coatings. The light source of the intense pulsed light device is a xenon lamp, and its basic working principle is that the trigger applies a high voltage to the xenon to trigger xenon ionization, and discharges in a very short time after a relatively long time of charging through the energy storage capacitor, causing the xenon avalanche ionization in the lamp, and the xenon converts and releases the charged energy in the form of high-intensity optical radiation, and this discharge process is an optical pulse.
